UK Referendum Protest
On the 24th October 2011, The House of Commons voted on whether or not to hold and in or out referendum on the European Union. According to the statistics only 40% of Britons would prefer to stay in the EU with a total of 49% preferring to get out of the European Union. Protests were held in front of Westminster, during which banners sponsored by the European Alliance for Freedom were used by UK referendum supporters. The Alliance also sponsored a promotion bus for the event. Godfrey Bloom MEP attended the protests in London.
